Finding the brand essence of Gieno
Gieno Pizzeria aims to bring families together around the table to enjoy an authentic pizza. With an Italian soul, the pizzeria wants to provide enchanting and welcoming moments in order that each occasion becomes special for its customers.
Challenge:
The name Babbo Giovanni, previously used by the brand, was a franchise, so the company did not own the brand name. In 2019, the owners decided that the time had come to have their own brand and leave the franchise. The challenge was to create a new brand based on the culture and beliefs already rooted in the company.
Direction:
The branding project was essential to understand the essence of the business, without the influence of the franchise, and to identify the characteristics that make the brand unique and true. As a result, it was created a new name that is more in line with the brand’s purpose and identity, as well as a new, more authentic and coherent visual identity.
